Immediate actions needed to stop piracy off Somalia
Paris, 26 May 2011
In a call for immediate action on piracy, the International Chamber of Commerce today urged governments to take action against the increasing number of pirate attacks occurring off the Somali coast. The Call for Action was launched at the annual International Transport Forum taking place in Leipzig, Germany from 25-27 May.

Attacks off the Somali coast drive piracy to record high, reports IMB
London and Kuala Lumpur, 14 April 2011  Piracy at sea hit an all-time high in the first three months of 2011, with 142 attacks worldwide, the International Chamber of Commerce International Maritime Bureau’s global piracy report revealed today.
